The North Loop (“Nordschleife”) of the Nurburgring is one of the most famous, and probably the most notorious, of all race tracks in the world. The Nordschleife itself is more than 21 kilometers in length, but if we include the grand-prix circuit completed during the 80s, then a complete lap extends over 24 kilometers. As luck would have it, the VLN motorsport club (“Verein Langstrecke Nürburgring” – the Nurburgring Endurance Club) has for decades been hosting the largest and most popular race series in the world at this most extraordinary of all race tracks. And a really spectacular treat was added in the middle of this season, the “KTM X-BOW CUP powered by MICHELIN”.
