MotoGP through the expert’s eye

We spoke to Red Bull KTM’s Joan Olivé recently here on the BLOG and were intrigued to know how exactly the former Grand Prix rider advises and helps Moto3 racers Brad Binder and Bo Bendsneyder by watching them trackside. What can the Spaniard see? What does he observe different to the rest of us – perhaps motorcyclists but also race fans – enrapt through television or at the fences?

Interview of the Month: When I’m 64 – Five minutes with Bo Bendsneyder

In Catalan the word ‘bo’ also means ‘good’ or ‘of quality’. Rookie Dutchman Bo Bendsneyder has been catching attention just four Grands Prix into his greenshoots career. As his name would indicate to some of his team and those in the Granollers town there is something special about the ‘64’.

Silent Success

5.4 million inhabitants. 20 different motorcycle world champions in eight different disciplines, over 200 world championship solo medals. The world´s most successful country in motorcycle sport compared to the number of inhabitants. What is their secret? We travelled to Finland to find out more about this country of silent success.

The KTM BLOG spoke to Red Bull KTM Moto3 staff to gauge the importance of slipstreaming and what goes into construction of the KTM RC 250 GP to help riders make the most of a ‘tow’.

How to … get into MotoGP

Working for a team like Red Bull KTM can be a dream. We asked how to make it a reality …

In the heart of Red Bull KTM Ajo Moto3: the workshop

Right before the start into the 2014 MotoGP season we paid a visit to Aki Ajo´s Red Bull KTM Moto3 workshop in Barcelona.

Jack Miller: “I want to win Moto3, Moto2 and MotoGP!”

If Jack Miller still comes across as feeling a bit awkward in his surroundings as the leading light of the Red Bull Ajo KTM Moto3 team then this is not evident on the track where the 18 year old Australian has set the pace so far in tests leading up to the beginning of the new MotoGP season in Qatar next week.

The Best Seat in Town – KTM Moto3 Media Test Almeria (E)

Moto3 – what a season it has been for KTM in 2013; rider and manufacturer title, every single race won, 21 victories in a row (stretching back to 2012). Domination…
